Our Client is a boutique law firm in southeast Wisconsin.
They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their team.
This would be a hybrid position out of their office in Lake Geneva, WI.

Job DetailsThe primary responsibilities of this position include the preparation of complex income tax returns (with a focus on Forms 1041, 1065, and 990-PF), managing the firm's tax return docket, and overseeing the staff and process of filing state and federal tax returns.
The position will also be involved in implementing tax-planning strategies, reviewing and payment of quarterly estimated taxes, and tax-related research.
In addition, the position may also involve participation in the firm's trust accounting practice, preparation of estate and gift tax returns, and a broad range of bookkeeping and billing activities.
Ideal candidates will have the following credentials:
A bachelor's or master's degree.
A CPA designation.
At least five years of professional income tax preparation experience.
Experience preparing complex fiduciary and partnership income tax returns.
Proficiency in ProSystem fx tax preparation software.
In addition, qualified candidates will exhibit the following characteristics:
Willingness to learn and participate in a wide range of accounting and general firm activities.
Ability to handle increased workloads during busy tax filing seasons.
A self-starter attitude with a capacity to work independently and stay on task without close supervision.
Flexibility to occasionally visit the firm's Chicago office.
