Assistant F&B Director

Position Purpose    Assist the Director of Food / Beverage to provide leadership and oversight to the food / beverage outlets and culinary areas of the resort.   Focus on finding additional means to drive strategic F/B programs to increase profitability and efficiency to the department. Essential Functions - Provide leadership to the food / beverage outlets ' to include restaurants and IRD, as well as culinary - Revise, generate and direct standard operational controls - Develop pricing, service, and product strategies - Identify and stay current on market trends within the industry - Direct supervision of outlet and culinary management staff - Utilize customer satisfaction surveys to develop and implement action plans to address areas of need - Work closely with purchasing department to ensure operational costs are within budget  - Supervise inventory management - Vendor and customer relations - Forecasting - Preparation of annual budget for food / beverage division - Ensure safety and sanitation requirements are being adhered to - Establish performance standards and assist in the recruitment / retention of staff - Establish development opportunities for high potential associations seeking growth    - Member of Executive Operating Committee Position Requirements   - Bachelors Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Hospitality strongly preferred. - 5+ years in a Food / Beverage management role, with at least 3 years of experience as a F/B Director. - Experience in an all season resort setting that includes an upscale golf operation highly desired. - Ability to read, understand, and analyze financial statements and have the ability to speak to the results of those financials. - Strong communications skills both written and verbal - Natural leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team and provide mentoring / development opportunities to high potential talent. - Ability to develop and maintain positive rapore with people at all levels of the organization and with guests. - Strong attention to detail and timeliness. - Cost conscientious and profit driven. - Ability to develop and implement new strategies. - Versatility to manage a diverse range of managerial responsibilities and a diverse work force.       Reporting Relationship    This position report to the General Manager Exemption Status Exempt 1800031F

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
